Student Health Partnership |
|
Working together to help students with special health needs reach their learning potential.
Student Health Partnership is a program introduced by Alberta Learning in 1999, designed to enhance services to children with special needs.
Foothills School Division is one of several school districts who work with agencies such as Alberta Health Services, Family & Community Support Services and Community Mental Health to provide children with special health needs, and their families, access to services they might not otherwise receive.
Foothills' goal is for school-aged children to have access to a range of health and support services so they are able to participate fully in their school programs and attain their potential.
