Education Plus
Education Plus is a multi-campus umbrella program which provides "Outreach" and "Blended" programs for high school students who may be at risk of dropping out of school. Campuses are located in High River, Okotoks and Black Diamond.
Stampede Ranch
Stampede Ranch is a residential school for boys and girls who are "at risk" behaviourally and placed through Child and Family Services. Through a series of processes, students gain the skills to resolve conflicts, communicate needs, make choices and further their development. Our goal is to see these students return to their neighbourhood school.
Where We Are: We are centrally located in the beautiful foothills of Southern Alberta. The ranch is approximately 100 km. from the City of Calgary, 23 km. west of the Village of Longview on Hwy #541. We are approximately 60 km. west of High River and 160 km. north of Lethbridge.
Summer School
Education Plus provides opportunities for students to take a single High School Course in July. Registration for Summer School takes place in mid-June and students are given their first assignments during registration evenings. All Summer School Courses must be completed by July 31.
