April 21, 2020 - Please note that although we looked forward to continuing our Assurance Engagement Plans, we realize that learning and family support must remain our current priority.  In the weeks to follow, we will turn our attention to the budget development process.  As a result our ongoing public consultation is currently closed.

We appreciate all the information families and staff have provided from December - March.  The Board of Trustees is committed to utilizing this feedback to guide their decision making throughout the budget development process.

You can view this information at:

  • Opportunity for FSD staff to identify potential cost pressures as well as areas of possible financial surplus/deficit report of all the input gathered.
  • Opportunity for students, parents/guardians, staff, and members of the community to help establish Foothills School Division funding and 3 year Education Plan priorities report of all the input gathered.

Foothills School Division remains committed to implementing the new Alberta Education Assurance Funding Model while keeping the feedback above at the forefront of our decision making.

Please know that if you would like to provide additional feedback you can continue to do so by sending your thoughts by email to feedback@fsd38.ab.ca.
