Find all the information you need to prepare yourself and your children to head back to school!
First Day of School: Tuesday September 4, 2018 (Grade 1-10). Wednesday September 5, 2018 (Grade 11-12).
School Offices Open: Wednesday August 22, 2018
Registration – Registration is ongoing throughout the school year. To register, visit your local Foothills School Division school. Please note that schools are closed during the summer from June 30 until August 22.

Programs – We provide a complete range of programs mandated by Alberta Education from Kindergarten to Grade 12 as well as offer a wide range of additional programs and services in collaboration with our many partners in the community. Please contact your designated school to discuss educational programs and supports available in Foothills School Division.
Fees – When fee information is available a notice will be sent home. If you have provided us with an email you will receive a parent username and password that will provide you access to your parent Maplewood / Connect Ed. The accounts tab will have your student fees available for viewing and payment online. Foothills School Division fee schedules are available online.
School Council - All parents with children attending school are members of their local school council and are encouraged to participate in council activities. Councils usually meet on a monthly basis. School Councils are established in all schools and serve as a vehicle for parents/legal guardians, principals and teachers to meet and work together towards common goals. School Council Chairs also meet with one another, district administrators and members of the Board of Trustees at district-wide meetings. Please speak to your child's school principal to get involved.
School Supply Lists – Visit your elementary or junior high school’s website to find the specific supplies your child will need for the upcoming school year. High school students will be informed of required supplies for their specific course selection during the first week of school.
