Foothills School Division is pleased to announce Mr. Chet Musgrove as Principal of Oilfields Jr/Sr High School.

Mr. Musgrove earned his Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta and he holds his Masters of Education (Leadership & Assessment) from the University of Calgary (2015).

Chet has been a member of the Foothills family since joining FSD in 2002 at Turner Valley School. Since that time, he has been at both Oilfields Jr/Sr High School and Longview School. Chet was appointed Principal of Longview School in 2012.  In 2016 was a recipient of the CSL Distinguished Leadership Award where he was recognized for his leadership excellence.

Assistant Superintendent Allen Davidson offers that “Chet models the competencies required to be genuine in his care for students, staff and families. He is transparent in his leadership actions including his philosophy and beliefs which support a climate of mutual trust and respect. Chet takes accountability for all leadership actions in the school and he is widely recognized as an individual who acts fairly, respectfully and with integrity in his decisions and actions.”
