Each learner, entrusted to our care, has unique gifts and abilities.  It is our mission to find out what these are...                               Explore them...   Develop them...  Celebrate them!

About Foothills School Division

In Foothills School Division, we strive for "success for all" and our students achieve outstanding results in all areas of education. Academics, arts and athletics are each viewed as equally important contributors to the development of our students, as are our career and technology courses.  Throughout the Division, we celebrate our country's cultural diversity through full French Immersion and English as a Second Language (ESL) options.  Staff, parents and community members work together to provide safe, caring and stimulating learning environments in all of our schools.

Foothills School Division devotes significant resources to meeting the needs of all learners through Specialized Programming, Distributed Learning, International Baccalaureate and 21st Century Learning Technologies. We remain committed to the principles of inclusion, parental involvement, equity, individual programming, team delivery, partnership, lifelong learning, early intervention and effective transition. These techniques, outcomes and achievements are shared with the parent community through School Council Meetings as part of the annual planning and reporting cycle and are available upon request to Learning Services or School Administration.
